That’s because sleep isn’t the only type of rest your body and mind need.

Here are 7 kinds of rest that changed everything for me:

1️⃣ Physical rest

🛌 “Your body can’t heal if it’s always running on empty.”

☕ You push through fatigue with coffee, workouts, and late nights.

🛏️ Prioritize 7-9 hours of quality sleep (before 10 PM), stretch before bed, and take short naps when needed.

🌬️ Even 10 minutes lying down with deep breathing can reset your nervous system.

2️⃣ Mental rest

💭 “A noisy mind never feels rested.”

🌀 Your mind is running 24/7 on decision fatigue, endless to-do lists, and mental clutter.

🧘‍♂️ Schedule 15 minutes of meditation, brain dumps on paper, or simple breathing exercises daily.

📴 Try a “no screens” window each evening to clear your head.

3️⃣ Emotional rest

😢 “Holding it all in is its own form of exhaustion.”
